Making a personalized shower curtain is a comparatively an easy project for enthusiastic do-it-yourselfers. All you need is a clean and plain shower curtain in either vinyl, plastic, or fabric. Among other requirements, you will need acrylic paint, a pencil, and your favorite monogram or logo. Firstly, get the monogram or logo blown up to a poster size. This can be accomplished at a copy shop without spending much money. Lay the curtain over the monogram poster and trace the outline of the letters or logo using a pencil. You might need a marker for tracing on the vinyl or fabric. Once, you are ready with the outline, fill in the letters with acrylic paint. Allow the paint to dry completely and leave it overnight before hanging it in your bathroom. This way, you can personalize your curtain by painting your initials or the logo of your favorite sports team. Use your creativity to come up with your own ideas.
Now again, if you have the luxury of excess space and height, how about planning a step-down doorless shower? Have about 2 or 3 steps leading down towards your shower, and to enhance the luxurious experience, you could have a rain shower. This is a gorgeous shower design, and you could incorporate the aforementioned ideas into this style. The shape could be circular, rectangular, elliptical, square, or any other shape you like. Keep a small plant each on the steps toward the shower, have the steps in glass with pebbles below, use appropriate lighting to create the mood, and you have yourself the ultimate shower. No door is required to give you any privacy in this space. The difference in height serves as a medium of privacy! This idea can also be used to come up with designs for beautiful outdoor showers.
Attach the shower head and operating valves. Operating valves will have to be connected to the water lines - both hot and cold. These valves contain knobs which will have to be set in sync with the hot and cold water openings.
Frosted glass doors will give the needed designer touch. Shower stalls with seat can also be checked out which does not take up much space as you might wonder! And why not consider adding door-less shower stalls? Believe me these are just perfect for mobile homes. These fit in low-budget and can be easily jazzed up with fancy shower curtains. While you search shower stall for mobile home, the portable pieces can't be missed out. Browse though the options available in the market and various online shopping sites. I am sure you will like to buy one.
